A sacred practice to return to your voice
This ritual is an invitation to return.
To slow down.
To open the door that was never truly closed.
You don’t need a special altar.
You are the altar.
This is about coming back to your own presence—fully, softly, powerfully.
You will need:
• A candle (or soft light)
• A quiet space
• A journal or voice recorder (optional)
⸻
The Ritual:
1. Light a candle.
As you do, whisper:
“I am safe to unfold.
My voice is welcome here.”
Let the flame mirror your spirit—gentle but steady.
2. Place your hand over your heart.
Breathe deeply.
Inhale through the nose… exhale through the mouth.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let the day melt.
Feel yourself return.
3. Close your eyes. Say (aloud or within):
“I am not too much.
I am not behind.
I am exactly where I need to be.”
4. Ask your soul:
“What truth wants to speak through me today?”
Let the answer come softly. Through sensation. Emotion. Word. Image.
Write it down. Speak it. Let it flow.
5. Stay with yourself.
Breathe again. Thank your body.
Blow out the candle when you feel complete, as a way of sealing the ritual with love.
⸻
You can return to this practice any time you forget who you are.
Each time, you’ll remember a little more.
You are safe.
You are powerful.
You are unfolding.
